LinearChip, Inc. Announces the Availability of a TIA Macrocell for RF Applications

February 4, 2008 –Aliso Viejo, California – LinearChip, Inc. today announced the availability of a TIA (transimpedance amplifier) macrocell, reconfigurable for today’s optical, video and RF applications.

“Our design team, using proprietary technology, developed this macrocell which uniquely achieves very low noise and low distortion while simultaneously providing a large dynamic range up to 2.5 GHz.” says Dennis Cocco, President and CEO of LinearChip, Inc. This macrocell’s unique combination of performance features are well suited for optical, video and RF receivers used in communication systems.

LinearChip has a world-class design team who can tailor the performance of this macrocell for each customer’s individual application. Applications include FTTH, FTTN, STM-16 SONET/SDH, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, cable TV and satellite receivers. LinearChip offers this macrocell as an IP block or will embed this macrocell inside a customer’s ASIC (application specific integrated circuit).
