LinearChip, Inc. Appoints Sheri Herb to Vice President of Sales & Marketing

October 17, 2006 –Aliso Viejo, California – LinearChip, Inc. today announced the appointment of Sheri Herb to Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Ms. Herb previously served as the sales representative for LinearChip.

As Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Herb will manage the sales team, including the manufacturer’s representatives and all corporate marketing activities for LinearChip.

“Sheri’s experience in semiconductors, specifically in the MEMS, analog and mixed signal area, will help establish LinearChip as a premier multi-market supplier of high-performance ICs. She will further define and develop our success as a customer-oriented leader in custom analog and mixed signal ASICs and ASSPs.” says Dennis Cocco, President and CEO of LinearChip.

Herb has over 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry. She started her career as a process analyst with Western Electric. Within a year, she became the first female electronic technician within Western Electric semiconductor manufacturing. This was followed by a succession of roles in HR, training, project management and marketing with AT&T Microelectronics, Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems. In 2001, Sheri introduced the industry’s first multi-channel high voltage amplifier IC for MEMS optical switch systems while serving as Strategic Marketing Manager for Agere System’s Performance Analog Products. Herb was the Business Development Director for Micronix Integrated Systems.

Herb earned a BA in International Marketing, with a minor in Psychology, along with an AS in Human Resources from Alvernia College.
